Steal The Editing Stack That Helps Me create Viral Videos

A breakdown of all the websites that help me create content daily.

I’m about to share every website I use to assist in my video editing process. I wouldn’t be able to live without them - none of this is sponsored in any way, just sharing the resources that have helped me over the last couple years.

Let’s get into it.

Flaticon is great for including extra visuals in your content when text/subtitles just isn’t cutting it.

I often take icons from Flaticon and add them to a curved square to make them stand out more.

Artlist is the ONLY site I use for sourcing music and sound effects. At this point I have a huge bank of SFX that I’ve developed over time, the music options are great too with artists like Adrián Berenguer making emotional, moving tracks - perfect for a n inspirational piece of content.

I can’t mention Artlist without talking about Artgrid. I’ve used almost every stock video site you can think of and Artgrid has the most cinematic and realistic footage I’ve ever seen. Perfect for any type of video. Highly recommend.

The collections feature makes it really simple to find related content from the same shoot as well, so you can find multiple shots with the exact same subject and colour grade.

Motion Array is helpful for sourcing visuals that I can’t find on Artgrid, as well as text presets and incredible templates suitable for Premiere, After Effects, Davinci Resolve and more!

Here are some gems I’ve used in client videos:

Envato Elements is useful for film burn transitions, 3D assets, fonts, stock footage and more.

You may think Artgrid, Motion Array AND Envato Elements is overkill, but when one site doesn’t have a specific asset, another one usually does. Also with the amount of competition on social media these days, having access to as many tools as possible helps give me the edge against other editors who only have one of these three sites.

My point is, if you can justify paying for all 3, do it.

And that’s it for the list! I use these websites every single day. I highly recommend them all - hope this helps you create better content, faster!

See you in the next one.

Kyle.
